“When an elder dies, a library burns to the ground.” – African proverb

(from Posterecord Basics page, in new tab here.  Read An Open Letter to an Interviewee in a new tab here.)

Posterecord endeavors to increase its online Samples of Story Captures (“Capturing the stories behind pictures”) and Interviews (“Questions and answers and stories”) while introducing itself to facilities and the public.  To this end, we propose a mutually beneficial agreement as such:

Free of charge, POSTERECORD shall…

  • coordinate, set up, and execute up to 7 hours (420 minutes) of audio-only or 1-3 camera video recordings as outlined below.
  • provide Interviewee(s) with one copy of Edit 1.1.  Interviewee family, etc. may decide on additional output options.  (See more at OUTPUT in new tab here).
  • provide Facility with a 3-5 minute combined edit of all Interviews for promotional purposes only.  This content must remain unedited, with all Posterecord titling, branding, etc. intact.  Additional usage of recordings/output must be arranged.

FACILITY shall…

  • communicate promptly throughout preparation, recording, and post recording process.
  • assist in the preparation and recording process by means of introduction to Facility and its rooms and selection, reservation, and preparation of one appropriate for recordings (mostly for Interviews – one location for all.) on agreed upon recording day.
  • Print out and ensure all Interviewees understand, fill out, and sign a Media Release Form (8 names per sheet) before recording day.

INTERVIEWEES shall…

  • allow disclosure of Interviewee (1) residence at Facility and (2) basic background information to Posterecord (for HIPAA compliance and Notes below)
  • allow Posterecord access to Interviewee room as needed for purposes of capturing photographs/audio/video.  This will likely be mostly for Story Capture recordings, for photography of any personal items to be discussed.
  • fill out and sign a Media Release Form (to be provided by Facility)

Total Value: $2445-$3465 (depending on cameras)

Please contact us at (406) 647-0633 with any issues, questions, or concerns.  We might just be able to walk you through this online or do it for you.
